Battery Light & Brake light intermittently coming on for split second and going off

Verify recently, my car started to show a symptom where Battery Light & Brake light intermittently coming on for split second and going off. I also see the car to be running bit rough specially pushing pedal on gas (i see high RPM at low speeds).

Really appreciate if anyone can point to what could be going wrong here ? Is thing something serious ?

I think your alternator is on it's way out. I'm pretty sure those are the two main symptoms. Do a search on here for alternator symptoms.

Yes, as stated above: your alternator is about to fail, or you have a loose connection somewhere between the alternator and the battery.

car currently doing this now out of the blue the battery and brake light came on today, shortly after taking it to autozone for a battery check which they said it was low on cranking amps. It died on the freeway so i coasted to a stop. Not sure if its a battery or alternator problem it seems like everything was fine until i turned on the a/c and it shut down until i came to a stop. Didnt have enough juice to start back up so i grabbed a jump starter and she started up. But still at a stop the batt and brake light come on. Luckily i wasnt far from home. Hoping this might be the source of my a/c problems.
