if u are replacing the lateral link, u should look into the mods for back there

theres a panhaard rod you can put on i believe, and then obvious on the rear beam, RSB, and ES Trailing arm bushings.

i know u just got started but, the rarity of someone replacing the lateral link and the work it takes, not sure were u are going w this new ride

congrats !

krismax,
Northeast salt is a pain. I also had my radiator support replaced as well as the drivers side wheel well taken care of by a body shop.

Please tell me if that muffler is quiet after the install. I might order one. Mine is rusting out.

Wow! I admire your work ethic. I could never find the time to do all the work you're doing on these cars & even if I had the time I'd probably keep putting it off & it would never get done. I can't wait to see the finished products. How close are you to finishing the 2001?

Nice little collection you have. How do you like the SR? What is your average MPG's with it? We've been looking for a new car but I think the Sentra may be too small for our needs.

Handles like a sports car ..eats tires like it too.

It is to small.
And we bought it new, back in 2014. Has 73k on it and haven't had one problem. But to me it is cheaply made.
The CVT makes the gutless engine ,feel worse. The base model you could get a 6 speed manual in 2014 but not the SR .Which is the "sports model" The 6 speed is discontinued now .
This car with the 6 speed and turbo option, would have been nice. I think this 2014 is the best looking nissan sedan ever made.

We average 33.6 MPG mostly hilly and city driving . I have never had a car that does this good. I had a Murano CVT ,same driving was around 15-18 MPG.
This car going 70-75 MPH on the highway can average 45-55 MPG. I find it odd that this car at 65-70 MPH is around 1500 RPM. Can't understand why the maxima's RPM is made so much higher.

But in conclusion i will never buy one again.

Thank your for the honest insight. I haven't heard any car enthusiast say anything good about CVTs. Oh well. You'r right, it is one fine looking ride.

krismax,
Have you installed this exhaust yet?

I wanted to know if it is as quiet as the OEM on the highway. I once installed a loud Apexi Exhaust on my Honda Accord. It was fun for about a month but the novelty wore off after a while.

No not yet...i bought the SRS exhaust which looks great but i think it is to loud.

I would have thought with the stock style muffler, resonator and a new cat. this would be more quiet. could be the car being started in the garage. Up against a metal garage door. we will see in a week or two.

I forgot to get back to you.

This exhaust is very quiet ,like stock.

And no fitment issues,it bolted on like stock.

But keep in mind this 02 had all the precats and main cat.

This car is totaled ,was in a bad accident.Pictures soon.
