Moving electrical problem
Moving electrical problem
hey guys, just wondering If electrical problems can move to different areas of a car. I have a 2003 Nissan maxima that has recently starting to give me problems when it comes to the electrical. Earlier in march My key stopped working to start the car which I found out I had to pull the anti thief fuse to bypass this problem to continue driving the car till I can afford to fix it. Then two months later the trunk would randomly would not unlock off and on for a week or two before it miraculously fixes its self. Now all of a sudden the driver door doesn't open from the outside or inside but the lock actuator pops open and close that was 4 days ago. Now it wont open at all none of the doors open,I honestly don't know what to do. Does anyone have an idea on how I can get the doors unlocked,is my car in Natts mode and now in fail safe mode despite me pulling the security fuse? will I have to definitely have to take the car to the dealer or can i call a lock smith to get it opened then fix the problem myself. I don't want to break the bank if I don't have to. oh I forgot to add that when I got locked out the doors sounded like the battery was dead not a strong but a weak click when i press and held the unlock button the second time to get the windows to roll down. the windows didn't come town either.

If all these things are happening when the car is off, them maybe you do have a problem with the battery or the connections. Make sure the cables are clean and tight. Take the red cover off of the positive cable and check for corrosion at those connections.
