It's not stock.

Please don't use those in the 00-01 housings. The glare is awful to oncoming traffic.

Get a pair of 02-03 headlights. D2R bulbs are what those use.

Hmm you might be able to retrofit those. Should be decent if you can get the focal point to match H4.

Just know that’s you’re not going to have high beams...

If you are hellbent on using those, and are not persuaded by the first two replies, then please install a cutoff brow, on the top of your lens to minimize glare. I'm sure they are available for 01 Maximas.

They came off a 02 maxima bolted to the bottom of the headlights. They have the same reflector as my 01?

I'll sell them, any takers?

They do not have the same reflector as your ‘01.

‘00-‘01: H4
’02-‘03: D2R

I thought this was the reflector ? Both of these are the same ,in mine and the car i got them from?

Is the ballast set up for only low beam? To get BI-xenon I have to get new ballasts?

Those look to be H11 halogen projectors. I wouldn’t bother they’re generally crap.

Those are just glare shields...

Ballasts are low beam only period. What can be bixenon are aftermarket bulb types (H4, 9004/9007) or the projectors themselves (which utilize a solenoid that flips the cutoff shield in the projector down to allow more light through the projector).

So i can keep the ballasts?
What cars have a good projector? Got the Camry ones for free. Because i can get anything.

Would it be easier to use these? My headlight assembly is a stock one now fits pretty good.

You can keep the bulbs and ballasts.

Good projectors that are easy to find and are bixenon: 3rd gen TL, Murano, FX35

the only catch is if you go in keeping the bulbs and ballasts, you have to do a custom one off retro fit, and considering the camary ones you have arent all that worth it, your stuck with getting different ones. if you can get different ones for free like you did with the camary ones then maybe its worth it, to me either keep it simple and get nice halogen bulbs that are clear white 3000k/4000k (Sylvania Silverstar Ultra, or PIAA ) and put them in what you already have stock, and sell off the ballasts that you have. or if you want to make this a project then go for the retro fit !

its definately rewarding once done !

also you can get crap EBAY housings that have a projector in them but they are straight rice garbage.

If you can find them for cheap, I recommend the Phillips crystal vision bulbs. I have them in my 01 forester, and they put out more light than a standard bromine filled halogen bulb. If I were you, I would retrofit an H3 HID bulb kit into the foglight housings instead.

Just to see how the 02-03 maxima ,Phillips after-market HID look in the Camry projector.I think there 6K?

The bulb plugs in almost. I could make it work but if i have to fit something might as well get Nissan projectors.

This is using only one headlight for all pictures. Car is in the garage, sorry accord is in the way. Didn't want to move it.
