IC Installed still having trouble though...

Sup fellas,

I just got my IC installed and it looks great! I dont have any pics of it Pre-install but I'll take some and post them on my page when I overhaul it in a couple of weeks! All I can say is...the car feels "SICK" now! You can feel the pull alot more in the low-end! Unfortunately, as some of you might recall, I'm still having the put-put trouble! I'm not getting enough fuel apparently. I've had a couple of shops take a look at it noting the different bits of advice you guys gave me in here as to what the problem might be and I think its now safe to assume that its a fuel problem. So...I'm getting a fuel-pressure regulator and an HKS BOV along w/some fine tuning to get this thing straight! NYC its just about offcial!!! I cant wait to get it done!

Like I told you before, be VERY careful running the 3.125 pulley.

Keep searching for the Hobbs Switch tweak... it's here.

I think you should know that when we pulled my tranny apart, the third gear cluthes where all but gone. Thats with stock boost. Now thats it's rebuilt so no prob. But had I run alot of boost and Ic with those clucths in that shape it would have been gone.

Does that mean you had to replace your clutch or your tranny?

No blown trannys.

Jayson is a good testament of what would happen if you're not careful (I'm sure he was, but it still happens).

I found the thread in my first attempt... I'll provide you with the partial link:

Fist let me so NO I did not blow the tranny. And Had I not wanted to improve the tranny 70 times over before doing more performance, I would not have even known what had happened. It just sorta happend that when I pulled it apart to replace everything (and add others, details coming friday) We found out that the clutchs were on it's way.

Well the power is there but the boost gauge is still off. I am getting new gauges and will hopefully find the issue behind my boost issue.

Yeah I don't think its a boost leak, b/c I would not be pushing the dyno #'s I have. Maybe the wiring could have be wrong it was installed by a shop?

maybe, but you might also want to consider that the senser in the gauge could just be bad.

You're saying you can rebuild the tranny without having to replace the whole thing? Did you just buy the tranny parts from Nissan or what? How did you do this? Or did you just get a better clutch?
Huh? What?
