sure,

the group deal was $85 so a few dollars more is OK.

I wouldn't pay more than $120.

Average numbers are 1.7 front and 1.4 rear. Ride comparable to stock SE.

I would like to know as well. How do they compare to H&R springs for ride quality and handling?

I'll answer in behalf of BigDogJonx (who's had them for several thousand miles already).

Ride quality is 10-15% stiffer than SE shocks which would put them in H&R ride quality territory.

I bought them during the Group deal a couple weeks back but haven't had a chance to install them yet.

Judging from the looks of it, quality seems pretty good - especially for the price. No one i know at the board who uses it (mostly pre-5th gens) had problems whatsoever. Most of the posted problems are "My friend who knows this guy said his mechanic said..." - You get the idea.

Check out Ebay. You can also try contacting the supplier to the previous group buy deal (Check out the Group Buy forum for info.)

BTW - By The Way.

You could try e-mailing the others who posted on that thread who wanted to get in on the deal but couldn't and set-up another Group buy for the price we paid.

Hey...

I'm in if we can get a set for less than $100. I'm an eBay addict, and at first Maxspeed springs didn't sell at all...now they're catching on...and you can't get a set for less than $115.

Group deal, anyone? Maybe enuff people for $90 a set?

Clay
