New to the forum and looking for any help I can get! My car sat for about 5 months. When i went to start it it was rough but I got it started. It took a couple pumps of the gas and runs real rough. I have ordered a crank position sensor hoping to fix that. But recently it wont even crank. Just replaced my starter and no dice. No clicking, nothing. All lights come on as they should dash, headlights, radio. I can hear what I believe to be the fuel pump but that is it. Any suggestions?!

 

See if it will jump start if not take off the starter and hook it directly the jumper cables. If the starter still won't turn it is defective and needs to be replaced. It it does turn check all of you fuses. See if your ignition switch will light a test light touching the main positive terminal of the starter while turning the key. If it won't light check your wiring and if wiring is good replace the ignition switch.
