Straight shaft power brake booster check valve location????
Straight shaft power brake booster check valve location????
Hello everyone. I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima 3.0l V6. I'm having issues with the brake system. I have changed the brake booster, the abs control module, the master cylinder and reservoir, and I have bled the entire brake system!!!! Unfortunately, I'm still having the same issue with the car slowing itself down and the brakes pretty much getting to the "locking up" point. If the car sits still, and turned off, for at least 10 or 15 mins, I can drive it for another 5 to 8 mins. Then, it does the same thing all over again. The brake petal gets hard as heck right before she does it, also. So, my question is, where is the Check Valve on these suckers? Thats all I have left to change, and I'm hoping this fixes it. Any suggestions on something I may have missed other than the check valve, cause all the other parts I have put on were brand new. Tia for any help. This has me stumped, and I graduated auto tech in college with a highest honors degree, and I cant figure it out to save my life!!!! Lol!!!
JSutter: so, its not inside the manifold? Everyone else has said it runs into the manifold somewhere, but i cant figure out where..... Thanks though.
