brake booster check valve question

my search funtion is down right now for some reason so i dont know if this is a dumb question but i was wondering if i need a check valve for the power brake booster? i dont want to pressurize the unit for a few reasons

1. power brake failure

2. damaging the seals in the booster or master cylinder

3. loosing boost pressure and hp

do the tt 300z have one we can use?

It has a check valve. Just connect it to the manifold and your set

IIRC some one had a problem with boost leaking into the booster. They used 2 from a turbo supra and that solved the problem.

MikeD had this problem - when going to the brake immediately after being in boost at the track = no brakes. Replaced the check valve, problem went away.
