Paint Chip Solution

It has come to my attention that over the last couple of months, many .Org members have been experiencing paint problems on their brand new Max's. This has raised some serious concerns. I contacted some of my friends who work over at Maaco (you know, those paint guys) and asked them to evaulate a paint sample from a fawked up 2K Max I spotted at the local junk yard (R.I.P.). They ran some chemical tests as well as physical durability tests on the paint samples and suggested the following simple solution to deal with the paint issues.

From my friendly Maaco rep Bubba (real name Robert "Bob" Uba):

1) Since it's cold in many parts of the country now, it is suggested that you warm the car up before you attempt anything (assuming you are one of the lucky few who don't have starting issues with the Max, like me).

2) Make sure you are seated comfortably in the drivers seat, seat belt buckled (most accidents happen 2 miles from home), and carefully maneuver the car onto the street.

3) Drive to your nearest Honda/Acura/Lexus/Toyota/American/Subaru/Mitsubishi/etc. dealer and trade in your Nissan Maxima for an inferior vehicle. This step is critical, if you do it too slowly, your car could be worth shiznat by the time you make it to the dealer due to all the paint being chipped off by air friction, we all know how crappy the Nissan paint-job is.

4) Immediately request to be de-registered from the .Org so your name is not shamed by being associated with "Nissan" and "Maxima" and so that other .Org members do not have to see the forum flooded with the same posts about Nissan paint issues and instead .Org members can now rejoice in seeing more kill stories against cars that cost $10K more than the Maxima, more technical posts, more how-to's, and, most importantly, posts from ppl who actually appreciate/love their Maximas and would not hesitate to buy another Nissan product (like me).

5) Join Honda/Acura/Lexus/Toyota/American/Subaru/Mitsubishi/etc. forums and whine about Honda/Acura/Lexus/Toyota/American/Subaru/Mitsubishi/etc. paint/electronical/suspension/quality problems on their forums. Flood their forums with whiny posts about losing to Maximas and ask for advice on how many mods you should add so you can beat Maximas at the stop-light.

This completes the simple 5 step how-to in dealing with the Nissan paint quality problem. In fact, it'll deal with just about any problem you have with Nissan. Glad I could help you guys.

RE: Paint Chip Solution

How to deal with little know-it-all brats.

1- Firmly plant left foot on floor.
2- Start to raise right foot in air until right foot is about 45 degrees of left foot
3- Begin to bring right foot forward (as fast and as hard as possible) until contact is made with the brat or brats a$$.
4- Repeat steps 1-3 until right foot breaks off.

Yes boys and girls the purpose of this exercise is to break your foot off in someone's a$$

Does this mean I can take nissanpaint.com down? I mean, its been almost a year and we have a whole 75 people who actually managed translate their whining into a complaint on a web site. If we left the site up for another two or three years, I imagine our database might even represent almost 0.00000001% of Maxima owners. Nissan would HAVE to do something at that point.
