2000 max dashboard is dead plus car wont shift

My car all of a sudden wants to act up. My dash is dead, my car will not shift out of park. I've spoken to a few people on the Facebook page and I was told it was my alternator. But let Me tell you my symptoms. All my exterior lights work, headlights and taillights. I can only shift by depressing the shift lock button. Car does not shut off on me while driving. Any ideas??

Check these 2 fuses and see if they are blown. Both are in the dashboard, to the left of your knee.
Fuse # 2, 15 amp, top row, 2nd from the left end.
Fuse # 30, 10 amp, bottom row, 2nd from the right end.
