Well, used cars are an adventure of sorts, one day I wanted the fresh Air from the outside so, I gently depressed the AC Recirculating Switch and it turned OFF.
However, I was ready for chill AC Air to stay inside the car and I gently pushed the AC Recirculating Switch again and it Turned-ON momentarily the, OFF!
This Switch on it's OWN started to TURN-ON then, OFF again in a cycle mode son I Pushed the Switch to OFF again so as not to Ruin the internal Electric Flapper Vent motors!
Salvage yard was great as I found another 2000 Nissan Maxima GLE with the Identical Switch. It was with great patience in taking it out as this Maxima had a Metal Holder Bracket that held the Radio and AC Control Switch.
To my surprise my Maxima has a Flimsy Plastic H-Frame Holder and I had to be extra careful in handling everything in trying to take OUT the AC Control Switch that was acting up!
Needless to say, I got lucky and the Salvage Yard Switch worked like a charm as I heard the Recirculating Vent Motor work and heard the Vent make the distinctive sound.
