2003 Maxima - Need help deciphering problem codes from ECU

I've looked at a few places online that list codes for the Maxima, but I am either doing it incorrectly or just not finding the codes I'm getting from my ECU. From what I understand, the short pulse is the first number of the code and the fast pulse is the last number of the code. Please, correct me if I am wrong. Here are the blinking light codes I am getting:

Slow pulse: 1
Fast Pulse: 8
------------------
Fast: 10
------------------
Fast:10
------------------
Slow: 10
Fast: 3
------------------
Fast: 2
------------------
Fast: 8

After that, it starts over with the first blinking code I listed. I'm assuming I'm doing it wrong, or my ECU is not working correctly. Any help at all is much appreciated. Thank you!

You know almost any parts store will pull codes for free for you. Or you can just buy a generic obd2 reader for like 30 bucks.

But based on your description you have a p1800 and p0328

Don't bother with this deciphering - just buy one of these things:

Thanks for the help guys.

No need for a code reader if I know the correct way to read it now. And I don't have to rely on anyone at the auto parts store. Go me!

Need a proper scan tool to read data.

Unless you enjoy doing things the hard way

I enjoy doing things the self sufficient/save money way. Not too hard anymore since I know how to do it now. Thanks!
