Replaced clutch and flywheel now car won't budge. Goes into gear without pressing clu

2003 6spd won't move. Clutch pedal still firm. I am stumped. Throw some suggestions my way please. If it helps, the only gears there's any resistance are 5 and 6. Sounds like something spinning.

Did you confirm the clutch disc splines engage the input shaft prior to assembly?

When you say this, are you referring to using the liner tool to make sure the clutch is lined up? I was under the impression that if that's the case then the tranny would automatically be in the correct spot.

I mean, did you at any point take the clutch disc and put it on the input shaft? Maybe you got the wrong disc (shaft size too big)

no I didn't put it on the input shaft but the alignment tool was ordered for that particular model so wouldn't it be the same size? 😕
