Identify this sensor

Hello this is 2000 Maxima GLE, can anyone tell me the name of the sensor pictured(green clip)? Also could it have anything to do with my car being stuck in limp mode? Thanks for your time

As for limp mode start by scanning for fault codes.

thank you, I have scanned for codes, reader throwing nothing. I've also replaced the MAF sensor and throttle position sensor. I'm gonna try new spark plugs next, I'm not sure what else to do,

I seriously doubt that the sensor you have pointed out is causing your Maxima in Limp Mode.

Limp mode is a Fail Safe feature from the ECM when "a" special sensor is not communicating correctly to the ECM......

Instead of filling up this thread, how about looking at Post #9 at:
https://maxima.org/forums/5th-genera...limp-mode.html

Best of Luck.

Look for a post from tunermax2000 you have a 5th gen and the post from Akshun above is for a 5.5 totally different. Time to replace your iacv,TB and get a new ecu .
