Took on a new Supra

Easily hung with him on the straights with my '02 stock Max and 6 speed, he really liked his backfire exhaust slowing down for the turns.
I've been driving Maximas since 1991 so I'm okay tossing into the turns, but I'd prefer it wasn't rush hour.

I have an 02 6 speed, I doubt it would keep up with a new Supra. Had no problem outrunning an 86 on a straight away.

Maybe because the Supra looked brand new - the other driver might not have been comfortable with the car yet.
I don't know how to tell the 2.0 from the 3.0 either, probably was a 2.0.

I wouldn't bother messing with no Supra...however I did mess with a CTS-V Caddy recently and was schooled immediately. Those Caddys go like hell.

Yeah, sure. I guess I’m the one who is trolling by making a thread about “easily” hanging with a Supra in my stock Maxima. LMAO, keep racing buddy.
