Difference badges between australia and us
Difference badges between australia and us
Sorry I'm such a noob when it comes to this but as there are different badges in different countries looking at US quote "GXE - GLE OR SE" may be more correct me if I'm wrong, I need to find what an Australian model 2001 Nissan Maxima ST badge would be in the US (as quoted above) I have searched though so many threads and can not for the life of me figure it out any help would be appreciated as google has not helped me either.
There is alot more information on vehicle's in the US then Australia and am currently trying to figure out how to fix/repair my vehicle.
Thanks in advance.
P.S - For the current vehicle I'm talking about are there any body parts or engine parts that are interchangeable with later or earlier models/Nissan's these are what I need as listed below.
BODY PARTS - LHS Passengers headlight assembly, front bumper, grille and front bonnet/hood.
ENGINE - Air condenser and radiator.
Sorry for long thread didn't know where/who to ask for help. Thanks again in advance hope to hear back from someone soon just want my lovely ride back on the road.

You should start by showing us a few pictures of your 2001 Maxima, including an engine picture, so we can confirm the generation Maxima and engine. Generations/years vary from country to country.
Your "ST" is probably equivalent to our "SE", but that's just a hunch based on the lettering. SE, GLE and GXE are trim levels. All body parts are interchangeable between trim levels and years. Be careful with headlights though as I believe those changed from 2001 to 2002. Here in the US, the 2000 and 2001 kept the VQ30DE engine from the previous generation Maxima. 2002 and 2003 got the VQ35DE engine.
