Potential vacuum leak or air vent?

Hello all, I just noticed this hose that wasn't connected to anything while I was changing my oil today. It looks like it goes down into the transaxle, could this be a vacuum leak or an air vent for the transmission? Car has 230k miles so excuse the dirty engine bay
Thanks in advance.

The open hose was clipped onto the hose that goes from the head to the intake resonator

Air vent hose for transmission. Leave it alone.
