Has anyone done their 30K interval service yet? Do they actually perform any serious maintence besides the 14 point inspection. I'm planning on reaching the 30K mark so i was wondering if i should take it to the dealership or not. Good idea or bad idea?

 

don't bother, just have a garage or yourself change the oil and filter, balance , rotate tires, replace air filter , drain ,fill tranny......thats it . the fuel filter is in tank, the sparkplugs are good for at least 60k .same with coolant

 

Doing it yourself is a great way to save money and have some fun at the same time. I would have done that, but I wanted to have paperwork for all the maintenance done for resale purposes.

 

and also changed all of the fluids...tranny, oil, brake, and antifreeze. The service offered by the dealer are BS. My dealer wanted $450.00 for the 30k service and I did all of the things mentioned for about $200.00.
