Has anyone seen this before. I had the codes so I swapped bank2 sensor 2 according to the chart. I used a Bosch branded sensor when replacing it. According to the Car Scanner app on my phone, I see it is producing a solid .29volts but not fluctuating like the three other sensors. Since there is voltage, I can't imagine it being a wiring issue since there is votage. Did I install a bad sensor. One note, I did hollow out the cats 10 year ago and run spacers on the downstream sensors.
Christ, I think I may have figured it out, but need confirmation on something. I installed Bosch 15225 which I now see it's rear downstream while part 15524 is front downstream. Aren't they the same sensor but with longer wiring on the 15225?
That's my theory. Both upstream are the same, both downstream are the same. The only difference being harness lengths. OR, all four sensors could even be the same, the difference being harness length and connectors. I used these OEM Bosch upstreams on my swap motor. Save yourself a couple hundred bucks and throw a couple of these in while you're at it
So, to conclude this thread: Some idiot who owned the car before me, reversed the o2 sensors. The short harnessed sensor that was to be in the front downstream was actually screwed into the rear, and the longer harnessed sensor was now screwed into the front. Replacing them and putting them in their proper locations fixed the issue.
