I was just looking at the directions that came with my JWT flywheel for my 02 Maxima and it says to use red Loctite on flywheel and pressure plate bolts. I've removed and installed the flywheel on my car twice so far reusing the stock bolts without thread lock and never had an issue. this time I went ahead and purchased new Allen bolts from Fastenal cause I really don't like Torx bolts. M10x1.0x25 Allen bolts aren't too common at all, 12.9 grade..
any particular reason why they recommend Loctite red?

I would rather go with blue Loctite. I'm sure the headache of removing bolts with red Loctite would cause damage to the crank. I don't want any issues getting the flywheel off when the time comes to swap in the 2nd gen VQ35, hopefully next year. for now, I'm just squeezing out what I can from the original high mileage VQ35DE..
