2000 Maxima GLE blows out the 2 15 amp fuses for the blower motor as soon as I start the car. I just replaced the resistor last week because the blower was constantly running on the 3rd setting. Replacing the resistor fixed the problem, now this issue has surfaced. I am wondering if I got a bad resistor?

if i can remember correctly, it could be the blower motor itself.

i definitely replaced mine once and i remember it being a very common problem, look around here a little more in the 5th gen forums and you may find a more definitive answer.

Thanks for the reply. I am leaning towards that conclusion as well. I have replaced that blower motor twice already! I guess this is the quality we get from China!
