03 Maxima SE spark plug question

Hi everyone, I drive an 03 maxima with 143 k miles. Owned it since 73k miles.

I’ve noticed the engine idling a bit rougher in the past few months and doing some research and it seems like the spark plugs may be the issue. 3 spark plugs are much more accessible. 3 require removing the intake manifold and potentially replacing the intake gasket - which is something I’m not sure I’m up for. Any thoughts on just replacing the more accessible 3 spark plugs and seeing if that helps the engine run smoother?

also are these suitable out of box?

thanks for any feedback!

I would bite the bullet and replace all 6. The 3 thats easy to get to is more than likely the only ones thats been changed for the same reason you mentioned.
Good luck with her!

yea do it all at once, and def stick with platinum NGK, the owners manual may even recommend that.

Get yourself a small socket set and a pair of pliers, and removing the intake manifold is not bad... Worst part is two bolts for a bracket on the back side of the IM. I've left them out with no adverse affects for 200k+ miles, so the hard part is over once those are out. But definitely replace all 6 spark plugs. Or pay someone to do it.
