Possible NATS issue

I hate to flog a dead horse with this topic.

Went to start my 2001 Maxima today (australian model) and it started for a second and then it died. Security light is solid red. Multiple trouble shootings, I also searched this forum for the past 6 hours but can't find a simple, straight answer.

Is this a NATS issue? Which will require a trip into Nissan?

sounds like a definite NATS issue. I had NATS disabled with my ECU flash. the security LED is always on and I still need the chipped key to program keyless entry remotes

Yay...

Thought that might be the case. I rang my states roadside assistance, they hooked up the scan tool but the car hasn't spat out any codes or NATS codes.

Youll have to bring it to Nissan or get Nissan Data Scan + cable to do it yourself. Solid red light is clear indicator that the antitheft has been activated.

NATs module can also go bad. If reprogramming doesn't work or doesn't last, then will have to replace module.
