I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima GLE with 81045 miles on it and an automatic transmission. It doesn't move in reverse and when I put it in drive it's sluggish like I'm pulling an anchor. I just did transmission fluid flush an filter and checked my shift linkage,

 

What happens if you put it in L/1st gear manually and take off from a start, is it still sluggish? If you can go L-2-D while accelerating fine but taking off in D it feels like its starting in 2nd or 3rd gear, that almost sounds like a solenoid issue
