P0420 Code

So I have a p0420 code for bank one and also have a bit of a rough idle (could be related not sure) I’ve replaced all my ignition coils and spark plugs so I doubt it’s that and ram some injector cleaner in case injectors were dirty.

I also noticed the voltages for bank 1 sensor 2 and bank 2 sensor 2 stay the same and don’t move which seems odd.

Im not sure if it’s cats or o2 sensor or whatever but any help would be appreciated!

You either have bad/failing cat or bad O2 sensors. I recently had all of four of my sensors replaced at just over 140,000 miles on the car. I was having issues passing smog in California because my O2 sensors wouldn't go to "ready". Overall, car runs much better now and gas mileage better as well.

If your car is in similar position, probably time for a change. O2 sensors don't last forever. I believe if you wanted to try to save some money, change the two pre-cat sensors on each bank first.

Gotcha, I've also had a code for the bank 1 sensor 1 sensor then it suddenly went away. This p0420 just randomly went away as well yesterday somehow.
