p1167 p0159 right after coil and oil change
Hello all, After an oil change that I didn't ask for along with an intended coil change, my Car is throwing these pending codes for Bank 2 o2 sensors.
First they removed my full synthetic Red Line oil and replaced it with their own regular conventional oil and filter. which made my car louder. ( it also has never had regular oil)
Or could it be caused by the fact that they removed my intake plenum and used gasket sealant??
I am very regretful of taking my car to this mechanic shop, but its too late now, I am almost for sure its something they did because these codes came a day later. I also regularly check with my own scan tool and have never seen these codes.
Could these codes go away if i changed my oil back to Redline? I just had 02 sensors replaced 3 years ago and it is not cheap. Does anyone have any Idea what could have caused this? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. Yes they did remove my intake manifold and installed a new gasket according to the manager. As of now all I could go by is what he told me since I couldn't watch them. The reason I suspected bad oil is because my oil was overfilled about 5 years back and threw a p0430 cat code. Shortly after a quart was removed, the code went away.
Not sure what to do about this, but wouldn't want to change the oil if its not necessary. Any suggestions?
