Hey guys we have a nissan maxima 5.5gen with built engine and have a turbo
My problem is i always end up with no 3rd gear
(5 speed manual transmission with vlsd)
I wanted to know if anyone has a way to survive? I live in iran so i cant buy par eng gears

Which cars have that transmission? And how much torque it can handle?

 

2002 and up Nissan Maxima, Altima 3.5.

did you swap in the 5 speed? last I remember all 3.5 maximas that were manual came with a 6 speed.

I believe only the SE-R Altima got the 6 speed.

you will also need the 6 speed shifter assembly and cables to switch to the 6 speed...
