2000 Maxima. All gauges stopped working.
Hey guys,
I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima GXE a/t with 155k miles. All of the gauges stopped working all of a sudden. The car has been sitting for about a month. I noticed all of the gauge needles weren't moving on the first start-up. The odometer panel is just a blank screen. The cluster has lighting and the warning lights work though. The weird thing is that everything started working while driving for about 3 miles. The next day I started the car and the same thing happened again but this time it never recovered. I checked all of the fuses under the dash and they're all good. I cleaned the battery terminals and the battery and charging voltages are good. Is it time for a new gauge cluster? Thanks in advance!
