Thank you

Are these any good? Do any of these pre-cat hi-flow work?

Pre-Cat solution?

For one, your link is broken.

Secondly, perhaps you can provide a tad bit more insight as to what your issue is and what it is you’re wanting/needing to accomplish.

I may not be the sharpest tack in the box, but ‘614’ and ‘a pre-cat situation’ don’t provide much for this novice to work with … but then I’ve only been maintaining my car for the past 24 (+) years, so maybe I’m just not experienced in this kinda thing …

I was trying to be nice, since I have been on a dozen or so car forums for over 20 years. Roush, G8GT, Vette, Charger R/T, GTO, etc. I am older and do not drive much anymore, so I bought a great rust-free example with 70k on it. 6-speed loaded

I figure I could stop by, ask a couple questions, say hello. However, the ***** chills I have received so far is concerning, especially here. If you are on this site as a fan of these cars, and the Forum has low engagement, why would you be a quim right off the jump? You answer a post asking for help, only be an internet simp.

For that money, you may as well buy headers and get a tune, especially if you don't have to pass state inspections. It will be just as much work. I'd love to see the 70k rust free specimen!

Yeah, I have the tune and stuff, but people are wanting $1000 to install. Man, The last one I worked was the G8GT, but didn't touch the Charger, really. I have the money, but I ain't a rube.

I've had several foreign work cars, where I will put better breaks, plugs, top carb clean, filters, etc, when I get them. BUT, I have never tweaked a foreign work car. I used to get these as rental cars and really liked them. So, I was just coming by to chat, network, ask a couple questions. No biggie.

Thank you in advance for any information you may provide

I highly recommend ditching the stock exhaust manifolds, they are really restrictive especially the front one.

I'm running 95-99 fed spec exhaust manifolds with high flow Warpspeed 4th gen fed spec Y pipe. you can find used exhaust manifolds cheap on eBay. i did a write up on it here's the link below. I've started lots of threads over the years for repairs and mods on my 02 6 speed. if you search for threads started by me in the advance search there's tons of detailed write ups..

I’d honestly surmise that I’m likely even older than you are and am, therefore, all done growing up. But thanks very much for your input … I’ll be certain to work on my internet social skills and ensure that I answer completely vague questions with completely vague responses just so as not to hurt anyone’s internet feelings.

You have yourself a wonderful day.

Starting to think I shoulda left it alone. Now, I hafta finish it. Pushrod V6s and V8s are so much nicer.

if you already have a aftermarket Y pipe get O2 spacers for the downstream O2 sensor.

P0172 and P0175 are codes for running rich.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I should have them tune it again, or not. Other platform, you throw on I/T/E, drop a pulley size, call it a day. This is starting to annoy me

Nisformance - Man, when you start the car cold, the front cats MOAN until they warm up.

It's not cutting out, no gas mileage loss

front cats moan?

I had Nisformance flash my ECU for the original engine and it was great, no issues.

I just sent my ECU out today to have it flashed for the 2014 maxima engine.
