A few questions about tinting....Please help :)

Hey whats up guys....

I went to tint master a week or two ago and I talked to the guy about tinting my car, about time .

Well I'm in CT and according to tint master 35% is illegal. I don't really care about that but I think I'd prefer 50% more since it's lighter and everybody can see who be driving

Honestly though does anyone have 50% and is there a difference?

My quote was $119.00 + $39.00 for seamless rear window. Does that sound decent? Thanks in adv. for all your help guys.

Hey, totally off topic here, but how do you like your ski rack? It looks good on your car! I actually am afraid to get one b/c I thought it would make my Max look ghetto, but it looks really nice on yours. Do you have a bike attatchment as well? What kind is it, the pic wasn't too clear on my computer.

Toony

35% is legal, front and back. 35% is like nothing tho, and i cant imagine 50% being visible at all. whats the point of tinting your windows if youre not gonna tint your windows. if youre gonna go 50, or even 35, save your money and get an intake or something else in that price range and leave the windows alone.

Sup Adam,
I have 35% all the way around and like it a lot. My buddy just got 35% on his back seat windows and 50% on his front side windows and there is a significant difference. In my opinion with 50%, you might as well not even get the tint as it doesn't make much of a difference from stock. Try to got the guy to do 35% for you even if it is illegal, it will look much better.

later.

LEGALITY depends on the state the car is registered.
35% can be legal in your state while NOT legal in Adam's state.

Did he tell you where is illegal ?
Here in NJ (one of the toughest states on tinting) any % is allowed
in the rear windows. Front Windows, tinting is not allowed (even 50%).

I have 35% all the way around... really nice looking.. not too dark, not too light...

Well I've read up on a few tiniting posts and I've heard some pos / neg statements, i think ill chill for now and save up for a body kit and leave the windows alone.

I just got my rack a couple months ago, it's a THULE rack and all I have is the 6 pair of ski attachments, I'm gonna get the big mouth bike attachements this summer. I did however get two extra lock cores so I'll have the same keys for everything, if you have any questions about the rack feel free to email me akierzkiewicz@hotmail.com it looks cool though...

I went to to sunlimited in BPT. They will do any % you ask for and do a pretty good job with a lifetime warrantee for $150. I have twenty all around and am scared to drive through Monroe. It depends on the town. If they have nothing better to do then Mr. Officer will bust you.

I like how moderators put everyone down, sometimes themselves call other people names but then modify other peoples posts when a friend is messing around with another friend. I LOVE THE ORG...and if it was kevin who changed it, or clee then that doesnt pertain to you...

looks very hot like you said and of course makes a heck of a "less-rock hit" hood. All the rocks hit the plastic and preserve your hood. Plus with the plastic one its not only low profile but also is somewhat transparent, so when the sun changes the color of the car it will also change whats under the plastic, plus water can flow freely through the bottom so it wont mold. Look at Russ's black Maxima with a deflector on it (www.5thgenmaximas.com) and/or FLOMAX

Its a great investment, buy it, I got myne from Summitracing.com for like 50
