I own a 2000 Infiniti I30
i replaced spark plugs then coil packs
Replaced entire front end suspension, tie rods, wheel hubs.
now the car began stalling out at red lights so I researched for weeks on symptoms and causes. Looked at my car and found the EGR clogged as I see it's a known problem. I sprayed seafoam directly down that egr tube and unclogged it to my belief but know I believe it's gotten into my cats and or exhaust system further down. I replaced my idle control valve and clean my throttle body tested my throttle position sensor and it's working just fine. Cleaned my maf sensor very well and it looks fine there hasn't been any issues from that. Just want some feedback on what some would dig into as their next step to getting it running well. It know burbles a bit it revs up during deceleration ( almost like a slowed down chainsaw kind of revving)
No engine codes are being thrown.
I'll clip pictures of the last scan when I rented a tool.
thanks guys can't wait to get this car going and begin upgrading not maintaining.
No codes makes it kind of hard to diagnose. A compression test on all 6 cylinders is kind of a basic starting point. Any chance you did a compression test when you were changing the plugs/coils?
When it stalls does it restart easily or does it studder a bit? Can you keep it running if you pop it into neutral at the lights?
I don't really have any clue, just throwing out some ideas.

stft2 is at -25, thats pretty pretty low especially while idling at temp. I would look into that. The ecu is cutting 25% of the fuel to that bank. Check through the vacuum system for leaks. Push around the Air box and intake while keeping an eye on the the fuel trim, if there's an effect you know it's related.
Mildly related but I've had The rear banks upper O2 sensor shoot out of my exhaust a couple times. Check if loose
I've driven with similar fuel trim on my 00. Luckily it's a 5-speed so can creep in first instead of dying. Driving with -25 feels like the engine's not running right.
did the stalling issue start before or after the plugs and coil packs were installed. how was the engine running prior to those being installed. also i would go to a junk yard and pull a maf sensor and try that. its good to have a spare on hand just in case.
