I posted about interior lights and shift lock issue and have not gotten response.

 

Forums in general were a 2000-2015 thing, 2015+ everyone moved to Facebook groups. Every forum i've been part of even those not automotive related ended up closing down the site within the last 5 years. Which is unfortunate with forums being such a good archive of info

 

i saw your post but as is typical with one-off problems nobody is going to be able to help without being hands on with the vehicle. you need a diagnosis and that doesnt happen over the internet.

 

Thank you for replying. I had seen other helpful posts with same question and have a list of possibilities. I'm trying to figure out if the shift lock problem is caused by electrical problem. I think I have enough info to talk with mechanic and not get unneeded repairs.
I appreciate your help and the entire forum, such a great resource!
