I got a 2003 maxima that has the 17 inch rim, and it is so bumpy in the road and I can feel every little thing in the ground and it's annoying, I have a 215/55/ZR17 on the rear and 225/55/ZR17 on the front, (like the one in the attached photo)
And they are made in china and the front are old, the rear tyres are sorta new, but I know maxima's are not the most comfortable these days, but I asked a friend of mine about changing the rims to I believe the 16 inch rims (which are seen in the attached photo) and he said that it will increase the ride comfort because now the tyre is bigger and the rim is smaller, I don't know what is the exact tyre size for this 16 inch rim, I searched on google and it says on some website and it says 205/65/R16, I don't know if it's right or not, can anyone suggest what to do in this situation?
you need to have the same size tire all around, use a tire size comparison website of your choice. you can upgrade tire sizes with in reasonable limits. on my current car i went from 245/40R19 to 255/40R19,
make sure you spell tire correctly. keep searching and look around here you may find better results.

Yes I wanna change all four tires to the same size, but I wanna know if I could change the rim size from 17 to 16 which is seen in the photo, so I can get more comfort because it's 205/65/R16 according to some tire size website I saw earlier, and if that will geniune increase the comfortability of the car when going into normal road potholes and not being so bumpy.
I believe it's thr original shape suspinsion my fsther did change it 3 to 4 years ago, and the bushings is original and I do have to change them because they make an annoying sound whenever I get into a bumpy thing in the road.
