Good Aftermarket Engine Mounts

When I bought my '02 Maxima in 2023 (51k mi) I was told it needed front and rear engine mounts. I got them replaced with aftermarket ones (I think DEA) and they broke already and was told today they would have to be replaced again. So I said **** it and ordered all 4 original OEM mounts (front, rear, side, and trans mount). However, they canceled my order for JUST the rear mount. I have moved heaven and earth over the last 4 weeks trying to find the OEM rear mount and the only dealership I can find it at REFUSES to ship it and it is 4 hours away (one-way). So now I have 3 OEM mounts sitting in my garage waiting to be replaced because I can't find an OEM rear mount (11320-5Y800).

What should I do in this case? Should I buy an aftermarket mount, if so what brand? Or is there a better way to get an OEM mount? I've tried NPD and APP, but both canceled the order...

drive the 4 hours or go aftermarket.
the order is being cancelled likely because its obsolete and that dealer knows it so theyre holding onto it for a local customer.

im assuming you have a manual as thats the mount youre after? i can get ONE from my supplier out of newark, california. you could go into a local independent repair shop that can order from worldpac and ask VERY nicely and they might be willing to order it for you. itll very likely be quite a bit more than MSRP from nissan.

if they fail again get ES poly inserts. they only fit OE manual shells so the DEA shells you currently have are scrap metal.

is your car an auto or manual?

I've been running energy suspension front and rear mounts for years. a while back I upgraded the upper mounts to Nisformance mounts that appear to not be available anymore. my front and rear energy suspension mounts seem to hold up a lot better with the upgraded Nisformance upper mounts.

It is an auto with the RE4F04B transaxle. Realistically, my main question are there any good OE like aftermarket brands? If that do you think installing the Energy Suspension mount only in the back and having the OEM mounts for the rest be fine?

no. the aftermarket stuff you get from a parts store will all be the same. doesnt matter the brand.

they mount the same but the bushing is different, Energy Suspension makes good polys that mount into the manuals.

when i got ES polys, i bought new manual mounts to put them in my auto. bolted up no issues.

they bolt up the same and will interchange but the manual mount shells are slightly smaller in diameter. the aftermarket mounts in mine when i got it had the automatic size shells so im suspecting the aftermarket mounts are the same regardless of transmission.

one thing I noticed is that the upper mounts arent as solid as the lower mounts. if I didn't have the nisformance uppers I was going to fill the stock uppers.

Wow, I spent almost $800 on all 4 OEM mounts when I did my swap in 2019.

They're all so easy to get to. I would throw a kit like this in it next time. 5 year warranty. Bill them for the labor.
