so I kept hearing a weird sound coming from my trunk. I was thinking maybe it was something metal bouncing around like a socket or something. after a thorough inspection i find that my driver side rear shock is messed up, I'm guessing the cap that the rod goes through came off. new rear shocks are on the way..

 

yeah that is either a broken shock rod or the nut came off.

 

everything looks ok from up top..

 

I changed the rear struts out today, this is what the broken one looked like.
