Transmission options

I'm thinking of purchasing an 02 maxima 20th anniversary that has transmission problems. It's got the vq35 and it's an automatic. I've already got 2 2000 maximas both with the vq30de-k. One is auto and one is 5 speed. Can I use either one of my vq30 transmissions to replace the the bad one behind the vq35?

Your best bet is to get used 4 speed auto from 02-03 Maxima. Those are cheap.
