Best way to check for intake leak?

I put on the Stillen intake, and now am curious as to whether everything is tight. How can I check if put everything back together properly? Someone told me to put ether?? and run the engine??

Anyways car runs well, and makes a nice growl. In 1st or 2nd the growl is intense but not too loud. In 3rd or 4rd and stepping on it at 3,500 rpm and up it is more of a rumble than growl.

No dont use Ether. Just check the connections physically. If it is tight, it is tight. Dont it is not like needed to be 200psi air tight seal deal.

Just tight for clean and good smooth air.
