DOES BOSE SUB INTERFERE WITH AFTER MARKET
#1
MY FRIEND WANTS TO INSTALL AN AMP AND A BOX IN MY FULLY LOADED 2001 5SPD MAX SE, AND CLAIMS THAT WHEN THE BOX IS GOIN TO BE TURNED ON THE BOSE SUB IS GOIN TO HIT FIRST, AND IT'S NOT GONNA SOUND RIGHT.
THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE SYSTEMS IN ALREADY, IF U COULD LET ME KNOW HOW IT REALLY IS, AND DO I HAVE TO HOOK IT UP THAT WHEN MY SYSTEM GOES ON THE BOSE SUB SHUTS OFF, OR I DONT' HAVE TO.????
THNX IN ADVANCE

No difference
The honest truth is, yes, the BOSE subwoofer hits first, but the length of time in between the sound created by the bose sub and the sound created by aftermarket sub is so miniscule, that it is a physical impossiblity for you to differentiate between the two sounds. Yes your friend is right, but no, it doesn't matter at all.
