Contemporary Motorsports FSTB- Group Deal?

I’m posting this in the 5th gen forum because I’m looking for feedback on these guys. I’m close to setting up a group deal with them and was wondering if anyone has this FSTB for the 5th gen or has dealt with them before. They’re in Canada.

Minimum 15 orders, but we’re looking at well below $50 shipped per FSTB.

This isn’t a "gauging interest" thread- I don’t think 15 orders will be a problem. I just want to see if anyone has done business with these guys before.

Do they have a web site I can visit?

The store is in Western Canada, inside a Honda dealership. $50 for a FSTB? What kind? That is very cheap. The Courtesy is more expensive, and if this FSTB is from a reputable company then it might be worth a look.

I do wonder about getting performance stuff for the Max from a Honda-oriented store.

The fact that they focus on Honda doesn’t bother me- that just means they know where there’s money to be made.

Price on the site is $28.50 (US) for the FSTB plus $20 shipping.

But they’re willing to do a group deal, so it should be significantly less. (or else why bother with a GD?)

I practically guaranteed him 15 orders and am waiting on pricing.

Keep an eye on the GB Forum. Hopefully this will work out well.

i actually went to their store yesterday and they quoted me 53.10 for a Vibrant Front Strut Bar.. i haven't heard of Vibrant but I can tell you it is polished aluminum and bar is flat and oval shaped. 53.10 is a pretty good price...but $40 would be better.

Is this a different FSTB from the one you have and are pimping in that other post?

The picture on the website shows a fstb that looks a bit cheaper than the rest of them since it looks like it attaches using two bolts per side instead of three bolts like with the stillen or courtesy.

I've dealed with them, but I haven't ended up buying anything off em....a few years back, I was looking at a VTEC Engine that I was thinking to put in my old car (prelude)....they seem pretty nice and honest to me!!

Hey 2002 Max, we should get together in Calgary one of these days. You have Sterling Mist, I have Majestic Blue.

I like to drive one with stock intake to see if I can notice a big difference in relation with the Stillen. I can let to take mine for a 100 meter run :-)

Might put on the RSB this weekend. The FSTB is under development.

I'm interested in the 2K2 FSTB if it's as good as the Courtesy one.

Hold on there, cowboys!

I’m still waiting to hear about pricing on this. If it happens, I’ll post something in the Group Deal forum where it belongs. There’s a pretty good deal going on already, check SoundMike’s post. (You might have saved me some work Soundmike- thanks!)

I’ll update everyone if I hear from this guy.

Gotta admit though, Contemporary has it cheaper w/ shipping included. So i guess it's all up to the people which one they want. At least now they got options!

I found this site http://www.vibrantperformance.com/ep...7_Vib_2002.pdf

which describes the FSTB as the Vibrant "Original" design. There a is performance design but it looks like not for Maximas.

From the description supplied by the manufacturer, it seems this is not their best bar - though it may be good enough. Just a little more info that may be helpful.
