I'd like to upgrade my headlights for cheap money right now and was looking at the Cool Blues by Sylvania. Think they run about 15 or so bucks per bulb. I also thought that the Super Blues by GE were the same thing but obviously they are not as they are 18 bucks for a 2 pack.

I had the Cool Blue headlight in my GTS and they seemed to do a nice job so for cheap money I figure it might be worth a look see....

Are the Super Blues that bad or are they pretty much the same bulb?

Or am I just pissing my money down the drain

Are you saying the Cool Blues or blue in general? I looked on Carparts.com and saw they have the Super Whites and Super Plasmas...basically whats the difference and are they just OEM replacements(No wiring upgrade need etc)?

Cool Blues arent blue

I have the Cool Blues from Sylvania. The light isnt blue at all. It's not really brighter, but it is whiter than stock. For $30 a pair, I think they are a good buy.

Just a question here.... If you are replacing the H4's with the same wattage, how can it be brighter? I'm considering Narva Range Power for $13.95.

The cool blues are only so when they are opposed to another set of cool blues, lexus lights, and other fancy pants lights.

I put the Cool Blues in last night...big improvement over the stock 9003's for sure. Not bad for 24 bucks for the pair...
