so i am assuming you have an automatic as well.?! Well every bit helps, i have a Y-pipe which helps at high rpms (5k-up) so the pulley would help me off the start...........cool!

it really depends on how U drive, if u drive aggressive constantly of course the tranny wont last as long, try looking into a VB recalibration, which is what i will be doing in March and maybe a tranny cooler, i got mine from permacool if your interested i can get you one for $65 shipping and handling

So the UDP only helps on quicker startoff? Any overall gains?

I got one also, you do notice the difference, a little better low end power. Not a waste of money

Hard to say, depends on mods and motor condition.

On my car it made a big difference, and I had everything and a lil something more...

On a stock car, it won't really do much, gotta have at least intake, some exhaust work, y pipe helps, so does a cat.

Well, I got ypipe, cat, cat-back exhaust, hybrid intake, and vb.

How much does a UDP cost anyway? It includes the belts right? If it's not too expensive, I might just give it a try.

I don't see how having other mods could possibly effect the performance gains from a UDP. It has no effect on how the engine breaths or anything like that. All it is doing is decreasing the rotational force of the crank pulley and there for freeing up more HP to the wheels. It should work equaly well on all maximas(with the same tranny).

Hi guys, after reading this thread and hogan's one, I'm wondering what size pulley should I buy for my 2K1 auto-max.

Cheers
