Just picked up my 02 SE today. It's gray lustre w/black interior, moonroof. What a sweet f!*#in ride! I'm trying to decide what shade of tint I want to put on it (35% or 21%). Anyone have any suggestions or pictures?

 

I would find out what % tint came on the windows from the factory first.Im also looking for this info so if I find it I will post it.Really depends on whats legal in your state.if its too dark the popo will mess with ya and trust me its sucks taking the stuff off.I just got my first Maxima last week in Sterling mist and its going to look nasty with tint on it.Well good luck in your decision.

21% is a odd number never heard of that %. That's a tough decision on which % to go with. Since we have the same interior color I can tell you that the tint will look darker. If you want the darkest look for your car go with the 20% it will look more like 15%. I have 20% on my Majestic blue and it really compliments the blue. I don't think the 20% would look good on your Grey Luster. I say go with the 35%, but tint your sunroof as well to make it a little darker.

u krazyy? I have a Sterling mist with 20s all around and it look sick. Wish i could o limo but would get too many tickets.

 

My '01 Sterling Mist I have 20% in the front driver/passenger and 15% in the rear window & passenger/driver. The back is dark but you can still see through it if you look hard enough. The fronts are pretty light IMO. You can see the inside during the day..

Well, I put %35 Lumar (metallic reflective tint) all around. The Maxima comes w/ light green tinted windows from the factory that makes the Lumar a slightly greener color (similar to Lexus' SUV tint). It looks GREAT. I've had several people compliment me on it. Most of the time during the day you can't see inside of the car because it's so reflective. I'll send pics upon request.
