Redline vs BG Products
Redline vs BG Products
Not to start another thread on oils...but I found this rather interesting.
Until last night I was going to switch to redline MTF. After talking with one of my buddies who has a heavily modded Talon (runs high 11's) I am not sure this is best MTF out there. He is using BG Syncro Shift II.
I tried doing a search for it on this site, but did not find anything. I went over to the DSM (Ecplise/Talon – Diamond Star Motors) Forum and it looks like everyone there swears by this stuff (BG). They also say that Redline will eat the syncro’s after time. I am not sure if that claim has been proven. I also understand that the DSM transmissions are different than the 6-speed Maxima’s and therefore may react better to different fluids.
Has anyone here used the BG Syncro Shift II MTF? If so, would you recommend it? The BG site (http://www.bgprod.com) is pretty good, but they don’t have a contact listed.
Thanks Guys,
Brian
