Ok found a Rental Car... 2002 Maxima..
Im going to rent this car.. put the ecu on it.. and dyno it on friday..

What im going to do:
1. Install intake system..
2. Install Cold Airbox..
3. Disconnect muffler.. ( to simulate an exhaust system )

what do you guys think about the muffler part?

This ECU will be going for $745.00 ..

 

PLEASE don't disconnect the muffler--I don't wanna speak for anyone else but I think doing #3 will lose many 2k2s interest in the matter b/c of the lack of exaust systems out--lets get some other 2k2's input on this

 

If taking off the muffler will simulate a hight flow exhaust and thus give the ECU a more aggressive chip, then I am all for it. I have an exhaust stystem comming in- in a few day's and I would like a ecu tuned properly to it.
