i installed an automatic shift **** (levoc) for the 2k max and at first everything was fine, but i thought i had to take that plastic piece on the metal rod off to fit the shift ****, i guess i was wrong, because half of the plastic piece came off. i still custom made something that fit for a little while, but apparently its loose, my question is,

is there a way to get the remainder of that plastic piece off without hurting that metal rod? or should i take it to nissan and suffer the consequences of voiding warranty possibly?

(i dont know if this was an accurate description of wut was going on, its early in the morning)
