J&S Safegard finally in....

Oops... wrong spelling J&S Ultra Safeguard

It actually started on the first try... despite not doing the 2 pretests suggested...

Only thing is I have a 0201 code popping up on MIL...
Anyone else with a 97+ get this too?

Oh... FYI, the wires for 97 are not the same as the ones included (96)with the instructions (for the 97, ECM pins for ignition are 1,2,3,7,8,9)...

Hi Wayne... it's a knock and boost retard ignition unit:
http://www.jandssafeguard.com/

Update: Still getting the 0201 MIL... It only comes on after the 2nd startup after resetting...

I was checking the ignition condensor and it measured 0.47uF and Infinite resistance (s/b over 1M ohm is the check used in the FSM)but is an INFINITE value good? I'm don't think it is fried due to the proper capacitance.

0201 is Ignition Signal Primary. It dosent ecffect performance, just a visual irritant, their may be a fix though...
