I installed my new spoiler and everything was going great until I went to replace the tension rods in the trunk. I can't figure out how to do it. I got the stock ones off but I can't get the new ones on. Can someone please help me. The dealer wants $75.00 for what I am sure is no more than 20 minutes of work.

Thanks,
Joe-

What do you me tension rods? In looking at the ESM it looks to be held on by 6 screws and some adhesive tape to attach the rear spoiler.

The 2 rods that have tension to lift the truck lid. With the added weight of the spoiler they give you heavier rods for the added weight on the trunk. They are the 2 rods that cross under the rear deck.

I found the rods in the ESM, but no mention of how to adjust. They just say they are present.
