Holes in Front Bumper

Just took ownership of a 2002 Maxima. The dealer drilled holes in the front bumper for a license plate. I'd like to find something to plug up the holes since I don't run any of my cars with a front plate. Anybody been down this road already and have a clean solution?

If a front plate isn't required in your state, they should have asked you if you wanted it before they drilled your bumper. If they didn't, they should fix it or get you a new bumper.

Auto stores...

...have small plastic plugs for small holes. Find a size that fits the opening, and paint it bodycolor.

My '91 Max came with the holes drilled already. The dealer had body-colored plugs for the holes. Ask your service guy.

Mine was not drilled for the front plate, but there are two small dimples where they should drill that are painted over. Don't feel bad about having to use the colored plugs, there probably isn't a hell of a lot of difference in the final appearance anyway. Actually think I might like the colored plugs better....

Ahwww, just give it a few days for the bumper and hood to get all chipped up.
Then, have them filled when you get the bumper repainted...for the first time!
