Alternatives for Paint protection
I've read a lot of complaints about the paint chipping easily on the Maximas, and I have to say I've had this problem on my '96 SE as well.
There's been a lot of talk about using the protective 3M tape on the hood, but no one has mentioned the plastic hood deflector.
I'm planning to pick up a 2002 SE shortly and I want to know if there's any reason not to go with the hood deflector vs. the "clear bra" tape.
Thanks
